Scenario 1 - Exporting a Posed/Un-posed Figure
Step 1: Within Daz Studio, create your scene with a character.
Step 2: Within the top menu toolbar, select “Scripts,” “Bridges”, and then “Daz to Blender.” A pop up window will appear with title “Daz to Blender: settings - xxx”
Step 3: Check “Include Morphs” and hit “Accept”. Another pop up window will appear with title “Select Morphs”

Details:
- The “Select Morphs” pop up has three columns listing morphs. First column lists all the morphs groups available in the scene. When a group is selected in the tree, all the morphs under it will be listed in the second column. Third column lists all the morphs that get exported
- “filter” will filter the second column based on the string provided in the text box
- “Add For Export” will add the selected morphs (gets highlighted in yellow when selected) in the second column to the third column. Multiple morphs can be selected by holding the “Ctrl” key in windows
- “Remove From Export” will remove the selected morphs from the third column
- “Add connected Morphs” will add morphs that are being controlled by the morphs in the third column
- Current picked list from the third column is stored and retrieved in the future sessions using the “LastUsed” preset automatically
Step 4: Hit “Accept” to start exporting the selected morphs to export.
Scenario 2 - Exporting an Animation
Step 1: Within Daz Studio, create your scene with a character.
Step 2: Within the top menu toolbar, select “Scripts,” “Bridges”, and then “Daz to Blender.” A pop up window will appear with title “Daz to Blender: settings - xxx”
Step 3: Check “Include animation data” and hit “Accept”. The export process will begin automatically.
Scenario 3 - Exporting an Environment
Within Daz Studio:
Step 1: Create your scene with an environment.
Step 2: Within the top menu toolbar, select “Scripts,” “Bridges”, and then “Daz to Blender.” A pop up window will appear with title “Daz to Blender: settings - xxx”. The export process will begin automatically.
Within Blender:
Step 1: Within the top menu toolbar of Blender, select “Edit” and then select “Preferences.” A pop up window will appear with the title “Blender Preference(s).”
Step 2: In the Preferences window, select “Add-ons.”
Step 3: Within the “Search” bar, type in Daz to Blender and select the box next to “Armature: Daz to Blender.” In the upper right corner, a pop up box will appear titled, “DaztoBlender.” In the upper right corner, a pop up box will appear titled, “DaztoBlender.”
Step 4: In the Preferences window, select “Save & Load.”
Step 5: Within the “Save & Load.” menu select the checkbox Auto Run Python Scripts.
Step 6: On the Right hand side of the window you will find DazToBlender located there. You may need to open the side bar by pressing the small triangle facing to the left.
Step 7: Select “Import New Genesis 8.” The imported Character and/or Environment, Prop should now appear within Blender.
